Varo huijareita verkkokaupassa! Case: nettiauto.com

Meillä oli myynnissä nettiauto.comissa kaverin auto, koska hän ei puhunut suomea, joten meidän oli helpompi vastata autoa koskeviin tiedusteluihin. Jo nettiauto.comin etusivulla varoiteltiin ulkomaalaisista huijareista, jotka haluavat ostaa auton paypalin avulla. Törmäsimme huijariin heti ensimmäisellä viikolla. Alla sähköpostikeskustelu huijarin kanssa... Voin kertoa, että meillä ainakin oli hauskaa...

Yhteydenotto tuli sähköpostilla nimellä Dominic Purcell, joka muuten näyttelee Prison Break tv-sarjassa ja on käytetty nimi monissa nettihuijauksissa.

Dominic Purcell: I've viewed your car ad, pls send me your best price...

Me: Hi. As I´m not the owner of the car I can´t say the last price but we´ve had an offer of 8 500e so if you outbid that, I can talk with the owner.

Me: 8 800e sounds good but I have couple more details about the car. 

Is it OK that we don´t have any papers from the car? Also, believe it or not, I lost the keys so it needs to be started from the wires.

The owner is very busy also and would prefer that the car would be picked up at night time. 

The address is Aurajoki 3 M, Turku. You/whoever picks it up, can leave the money to the garbage can next to the car. We would prefer used 20 euro bills.
